Legal Services - James Peters & Company

An on-site dedicated solicitors practice, comprising a solicitor and a team of paralegals supervised by a senior solicitor, forms an integral part of our collection process. If we recommend to you that we take legal action and you agree, that service is on hand.

They will handle, on your behalf, all the required work to get your debt paid through the legal system, Including:

- pre-legal proceedings work,
- the issue of Statutory Demands,
- all action necessary to issue court proceedings,

- obtaining judgements & orders & enforcing them

They can obtain Orders to Obtain Information from debtors in an attempt to get a true financial picture of your debtor and will deal with the High Court Enforcement Officer or Bailiff in an attempt to obtain payment of your debt out of the debtor's assets.

Charging Orders, Third Party Debt Orders, Stop Orders and Stop Notices, as well as Winding Up and Bankruptcy Petitions, can also be obtained if appropriate to helping you recover your outstanding debt.

You are consulted at each stage and made aware of the costs before proceeding.

They provide you with a truly proactive and pragmatic legal service.

If there are problems with an international debt we can call on our alliance of full service law firms, well established in their local markets, and represented in 33 major cities across Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China.

Our mediation service provides cost-effective dispute resolution in high value commercial disputes without recourse to litigation.

We work to achieve a negotiated settlement of a dispute. The Courts actively encourage parties to consider mediation that can often take only a few weeks to resolve, rather than several months in a drawn out legal action.
